At Uncarved Block, we’ve been hand-making climbing holds in Australia since 1996. We know that moving climbing holds and hardware across this massive continent is expensive, but we also believe it should be transparent.

The Reality of Small Business Shipping

Because I am a one-person, independent operation, I don’t get the massive volume discounts or "special rates" that big corporate retailers do. I pay the same standard Australia Post and courier rates that you do.

To avoid "checkout shock," I have moved to a Flat-Rate system. I actually pay a portion of the postage on most orders to keep these rates as low as possible for you. This ensures that whether you’re buying a handful of bolts or building a full home wall, you’re getting the best value possible.

Shipping Tiers

• $9.95: For orders up to $99

• $14.95: For orders between $100 and $199.

• $19.95: For orders between $200 and $299.

• FREE Shipping: For all orders over $299

• Australia-Wide: Whether you’re in a capital city or the outback, these flat rates apply to you. No regional surcharges or "remote" fees.

Pro Tip for Best Value: Since shipping is a flat rate, you get the best value by bundling items together. If you’re close to a tier limit, adding a few extra holds or hardware is a great way to make the most of the postage cost—or push your order over $299 to clear the shipping cost entirely.

Shipping Questions

Can I Pick Up My Order?

Yes. Only available In Armidale, NSW though.  Must be pre-arranged in advance.  Being a one-man operation I make up my own hours!  Call Todd to arrange:  0444 522 631

Receive "Awaiting Collection In Armidale, NSW" Notification?

If you get a notification from Aus Post telling you your order can be collected at the Armidale Post Office, you can ignore it.  This is a scanning error and your order will be delivered as normal.

Ship International?

Australia Post to New Zealand ONLY.  Uncarved Block cannot ship Metolius products to NZ.

NOTE: Due to limitations in Aus Post's API your tracking email may indicate that only part of your order has been shipped.  Unless previously arranged with you by phone or email, your entire order has shipped despite the tracking info.  I do not send partial orders unless previously arranged.
