So cool

This is a large hold, with a great texture. It’s on the 35 degree wall, and like all the big holds, it’s very versatile. It’s a little harder to cling to than it looks. I’m 44 years old and new to climbing, so when I matched hands on this jug, I felt like a pro. I get my knee under it from time to time, and I’m working on hooking it with my heel, which is difficult in thongs, but the texture is grippy, yet forgiving on the skin. I really like this hold.

Beautifully textured jug or pinch

Jug upwards, this hold makes for a firm 2 handed match on a heavily sloped wall. On the same wall at various orientations the big "lippy" edge becomes a really positive pinch.
